NI Secretary of State, Karen Bradley MP, made a surprise visit to race control at the start/finish line of the 2018 Vauxhall International NorthWest 200.
Ms Bradley was picked up on course and escorted on a tour of the famous NW200 circuit in one of the course cars, before making her way to greet some of the riders on the grid.
She stopped to briefly watch the beginning of Supersport practice lap. Ms Bradley then also took a tour of the new race control area to meet and chat to course officials as well as touring the new control facilities.
She was joined by Ian Paisley North Antrim MP, David Jackson Chief Executive of CCGBC and NW200 Course Director Mervyn Whyte
Not staying for the evening races due a busy schedule, the NI Secretary of State left again to go onto other engagements.
