Police in Coleraine investigating the report of criminal damage at a church in the Circular Road area of the town are appealing for information.Constable Michael Burkes said: “We received a report at 2:35pm on Thursday 31 May that five frosted glass windows in the church had been smashed. It was reported this occurred earlier in the week, sometime between the evening Monday 28th May and the next morning Tuesday 29th May.I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between Monday night and the next morning, Tuesday 29th May, and noticed any suspicious activity, or anyone with information they believe may assist our investigation to contact police in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 710 of the 31/05/18.Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
