Graffiti has been painted on the orange hall in Rasharkin.
This isn’t the first time this hall has been targeted and comes after the Hall been given a facelift recently thanks to a community fund.
The hall in Rasharkin’s Main Street was covered in graffiti at some time overnight between Saturday, 28 ?of July and Sunday 29 of July?
Local Councillor John Finlay issued the following statement;
“I wish to condemn another sickening attack on Rasharkin orange hall.
“Seems there are those that are so full of hatred that they cannot leave anything protestant alone.
“The police need to do all that they can to apprehend those responsible. I will be speaking to them about this matter.
“Also those that stir up hatred of orange parades and stir up anti-orange sentiments.are also to blame?
“If anyone saw anything I would urge them to report it to PSNI so those responsible can be brought to justice
“It’s time people accepted the right for orange culture to exist and grow in Rasharkin.”
The UUP leader and North Antrim MLA Robin Swann responded on social media to the attack.
